BEWARE! FirstEnergy will soon be on your land Unfortunately, affected property owners cannot stop FirstEnergy people from entering their property. However, please be very aware of what is happening and report any suspicious activity, such as:
FirstEnergy knows that this war is NOT OVER, thus they will be working overtime to divide and conquer property owners along the cross country route. They will likely try to pit owner against owner, knowing that as more owners sign their land away, the less support CARE will receive. We made sure that FirstEnergy's divide and conquer technique did not work as between landowners on the two routes in the application. Now is the time to keep it from working again. At the risk of being redundant, Please do not sign anything that FirstEnergy wants you to sign. If it doesn't benefit FirstEnergy more than it benefits you, why would they want you to sign it? Let FirstEnergy try to take your land in court. Stay on your guard and stand your ground. If FirstEnergy's real estate representatives or surveyors overstep their bounds, please let the nearest CARE member know the facts. If they offer any "contracts" or other paperwork, please alert and forward copies to the nearest CARE member. Please educate your neighbors and friends, so that they are not blind-sided or bullied by FirstEnergy's intimidation tactics. Working together, we will prevail. |
